Announced project. DIGG has published a phased timeline: a first version of the wallet lands on a test platform in December 2026 for service providers and issuers to evaluate, alongside the first set of certification requirements; a broader launch of the state wallet as a high-assurance e-identification built on SverigeID follows during 2027, adding attribute attestations and further functions; certification readiness is targeted for 2028, with full EUDI Wallet certification in 2029. Namirial places Sweden in the second tier on the strength of public mandate, sandbox work and implementation structure.
