Closed Pilot / LSP

Gov.gr Wallet is in closed pilot and has expanded to thirteen documents, adding the national passport as a mobile credential for identification and domestic travel. Upgrade to EUDI Wallet officially confirmed; Greece has opened bidding on a 415 million euro contract to build a new integrated digital identity system (OPSEA), explicitly designed to be compatible with eIDAS 2.0 and the European Digital Identity Regulation, with bidding closing 10 September 2026.
