First wallet version leveraging Cl@ve presented at the EUDI Wallet Launchpad in December 2025. Cl@ve has over 24 million registered users and 1.1 billion annual authentications. Citizens already carry digital documents via the MiDNI and MiDGT apps; the future EUDI wallet is expected to consolidate these into a single platform recognised across the EU from 2027.
