Czechia
DIA-led announced project, no public sandbox. Namirial Q1 2026 places Czechia in the middle band, no longer a laggard. In August 2026 the public was invited to the first large-scale load test of the eDoklady app, ahead of the autumn municipal elections, after the system buckled under demand during the 2025 elections. In early June 2026 the DIA became one of the first member states to circulate a draft national certification scheme for the EUDI Wallet to other EU states for comment; the draft drew no substantial objections, and applications to accredit certification bodies open in the second half of 2026. The scheme sets how compliance is verified for wallet and PID providers, the PID role being one the DIA will hold in Czechia.
